Dawg Pound
The Dawg Pound is a seasonal operation located right on the Mohican River in Loudonville. We have access from both the road and the river. If you do pull up from the river, we have hooks to keep your watercraft from floating away and we offer music, karaoke, and an occasional band not to mention great fun and comradery. Our carryout featuring fresh, made-to-order food and your favorite adult beverages is open Memorial Day through Labor Day (giving or take a week or two on either side of the holidays.) We are known for our delicious grilled hot dogs and butter-grilled buns! Our business is weather-dependent just like the liveries but we do like to keep you updated on our schedule on our Facebook page! During the week you’ll find the smiling faces of Rosie and Mary at the window and on the grill! The owners Jude and Jeanette Ott usually spend Friday night- Sunday night working to bring you the best food on the river! Please stop and introduce yourself if you haven’t met them before! We appreciate being part of Loudonville’s great community. We also have to thank all the friends and family who helped work the carryout and did so much behind the scenes!
