Some participated in the Canopy Tour directly prior to the meeting. An exhilarating experience with heights up to 120 feet and speeds close to 50 mph. The tours are approximately two and a half hours long and happen throughout the treetops including seven zip lines and 2 rappelling points, although the last rappel can be opted out for a “quick jump” allowing you to just jump off the sixty foot platform allowing the line to grab on after a slight free fall and lower you swiftly and safely to the ground.
Heartland Promotions sponsored sandwiches and cookies for the social hour portion of the meeting. Regular business was conducted as well as an overview of some of the upcoming events.
The Zip-lining prior to the meeting was all you could imagine. A heart pumping tree-top tour on a beautiful day is a perfect way to get ready for a meeting! Plus, it gives you a good excuse to attend the meeting in a t-shirt and shorts.Allen Heimberger
